Shark Tank Episode 412

Shark Tank Episode 412

January 4th, 2013

Happy New Year Shark Tank Fans! With only one new episode in all of December it's finally time for some New Shark Tank Contestant's to feature their inventions. As you might expect, ABC is not disappointing on the first line up of new products. Will T-Mobile continue with their "scripted" built in commercials the second half of the season? Or is the gig up on that one. You have to admit, they sure have received more attention on those little plugs then any regular commercial ever could. I still think if they want to make a big impact on the Shark Tank Show, they need the T-Mobile Girl on as a special guest. Now that would really light up the twitter feed.

Who Is On The Shark Tank Next?  And Who Gets A Million Dollar Offer Tonight?

Game Face Co.- is basically like a temporary tattoo that, you guessed it, covers your face. No more painting your face with messy paints when you can have a perfect game face on, every time. This is a perfect invention that makes you think, why would anyone ever want to use traditional paints again. It's easy to see the Game Face would be very popular at any sporting event where folks proudly dress up and wear their colors. It's also even easier to see this product would be a very big seller on Halloween. This is a super cool idea with a very low price point that I believe will spark some interest from the Sharks. Is it worth a million dollar offer?

Dream Arcade's - is taking the classic big box arcade games and bringing them up to speed in the 21st century. A single Dream Arcade plays over 200 of  the classic games with extra game packs to play even the more modern titles. For the ultimate Man Cave, they also make a full sized arcade game with a built in keg they call the Kegerator. Dream Arcade is the actual manufacture of 6 different styles, so look for some impressive sales numbers as this is on the high end of the consumer price point. The question is, is there enough of a demand and a profit to interest the Shark's in a specialized market?

Dura Tent - is a super cool outdoor invention especially when there is a lot of pesky critters flying around. The Dura Tent was specifically designed for one reason. To keep your food safe in even the most fly infested, bug crawling picnic area you could think of. I have to admit, I have been going camping all my life but I never thought of making a tent just for the food.

Hot Tot - is a line of hair care products designed for children. Megan Gage, the owner of the Hot Tot Brand, makes a compelling case why you should use her baby shampoo over the competition's. Within just a few short years, Megan is transforming the hair care industry for kid's in a very positive way. Is she willing to give up Her Brands Logo in favor of a more kid friendly one? A product made for kids BUT bought by their parents is the logic used in deciding on a grown-up logo. A marketing ploy that seems to be working so far.

Shark Tank Update:

Wild Squirrel Nut Butter from Season 3, Episode 315,  will be tonight's special update on the success of Erika Welsh and Keely Tillotson's company. Barbara Corcoran offered the college students $50,000.00 for a 40% stake in the Wild Squirrel Nut Butter Company earlier this year in which they ended up turning down. Sales exploded ever since being on the Shark Tank Show to the point that the producers filmed this update in September of last year, just 4 months after appearing on the show. Hopefully Keely or Erika will do a more current update on their new blog at WildSquirrelNutButter.blogspot.com
