Inventor's of The Nail Pak
Barbara Lampugnale first appeared on the Shark Tank Show last year on Season 3 getting a deal with Lori Greiner for the $50k to expand the Nail Pak  product line. She has an iron clad patent on the 3 in 1 nail polish, remover and file combination and with Greiner's help, has quickly expand into the retail market. Barbara is the Mother of 6 girls and still finds the time to run the Very Successful Duality Cosmetics Nail Pack Business.

Nail Pak Shark Tank Recap:

Lori Greiner really likes this product right away, as does Kevin O'Leary, and she starts the negotiations at 51% of the nail polish business for the $50k Barbara was looking for. Lori even sweetens the deal by saying they will sit down tomorrow morning and get the Nail Pak's on QVC
very quickly. Lori is completely convinced she can sell all 10,000 already available units in a matter of minutes on her show. Let's see, 10,000 units x 14.95 = $149,500.00 is a tidy profit and guarantee's Lori will be in profit rather fast on this deal.

Kevin offers Barbara $50k for only 40% and then he will just call QVC himself and get the Nail Pak's on there. He asks Daymond John if he wants to bring his marketing skills in on this deal and sweeten the pot just a bit. Greiner really likes this idea and already knows she is looking at the next hit for her show. She wants controlling interest but because of O'Leary and John's partnership she decides to drop the equity down to 40% and match their deal. Obviously Lampugnale has done her homework and would much rather work with Lori and accepts a deal that really is almost too good to be true.

Barbara walks away with the money she was asking for, still has a controlling interest in her invention that she almost gave away and a guarantee that Lori will have the Nail Pak on QVC and sell out all 10,000 bottles of existing product in the very near future.
Shark Tank season 3 episode 14
Nail Pak Duality Cosmetics Shark Tank Update

It was a very long and tough road to get to the Shark Tank for Lampugnale. She originally tried out and almost got on Season 2 but was cut in the final process for not having product and only having a prototype of the Nail Pak. To come so close to getting on the Show was a major setback, but one that would prove invaluable as her determination increased 10 fold. She knew she had what it takes to get on the Shark Tank Show but it would cost her family $300k in research and development including the initial 10,000 units.
In the process they lost their own home in foreclosure but was completely convinced that Duality Cosmetics would someday become a Huge Success. Lampugnale did try out again for Season 3 and this time she knew exactly what to expect and what the producers are looking for when picking which contestant's make it on the Show. Barbara really did put everything on the line for that second chance and she got it.

Lori Greiner was true to her word and had the Nail Pack featured on QVC right after the Shark Tank aired. The combination of the Shark Tank Effect from the Show followed up by QVC sent sales right through the roof as the first 10,000 Nail Pak's were quickly gone.

The sales of the Duality Cosmetics have been so successful the Shark Tank Producer's wasted no time Featuring Lampugnale just a few months ago in Season 4. They already sold 50,000 bottles and $750,000.00 in sales when Greiner secured a meeting with Ulta Beauty to possibly get the products in over 500 stores around the country. They absolutely loved the concept and agreed to carry Nail Pak in all the store's. Within 6 weeks they ramped up production and now carry the Nail Pak in all Ulta Beauty Stores.

If there's any doubt the Shark Tank is not the real deal, then this is one Success Story everyone needs to read. This show really has changed Barbara Lampugnale's financial and business life forever. Contestants like Barbara will keep the Shark Tank Show on the air for a very long time.
