Balloon Distractions on the Shark Tank

Balloon Art Business - Episode 515 - 1/17/2013
Balloon Tying Business Opportunity
Successful Regional Partner's
from Balloon Distraction's Unique Business Opportunity
If there's one thing I Really Like seeing in future Shark Tank contestants is 100% pure enthusiasm promoting this very fact. Some contestants barley mention they are about to appear on the Very Best Business Reality Show on TV, while others take full advantage of this priceless publicity that will continue paying dividends for many years to come. Ben Alexander the owner of Balloon Distractions, is one Entrepreneur who clearly falls in the second group that wants the world to know He's coming to the Shark Tank January 17, 2004.

Balloon Distraction's is a Balloon Art Tying Business that makes hundreds of creations using regular balloons. How much money is there in tying balloons for a living? A whole lot more money than you might think. Alexander has created a very unique Franchise Opportunity where all the equipment you will need to succeed costs less than $100 to get started.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to make all kinds of cool things with balloons, they have a very extensive list of videos on You Tube showing dozens of tutorials. The videos start with the basics of tying balloons into shapes all the way up to making complete costume's as pictured below.

How much does it cost to build a Region within the Balloon Distractions program?
From what I can tell there is no further expense other than $100 for supplies to get this business started. What is required to build this business is pure 100% enthusiasm making as many people happy as you possibly can while giving away this free product. According to the site, established Regions in major markets working 30 hours a week, earn over $100,000.00 per year. Who said you need a lot of money to make a lot of money? Buying a bunch of balloons is very cheap, but turning them into works of Art that puts a big smile on a kids face is very lucrative in more ways than one.

Ben Alexander has been in the balloon tying business for over 10 years building a reputation with several National Restaurant Brands including I-Hop, Apple Bees and Chili's. Restaurant Chains love having Balloon Distraction's create balloon art for their customers. Each client pays for a set amount of time which locks in pure profit you're guaranteed to make for each event. The more entertainers you train how to make balloon art, the more events your region can schedule while you getting a guaranteed percentage for all of them. The Balloon Distractions Headquarters also does the entire payroll, billing and most of the scheduling for you so you can concentrate on building other areas of the business.

With such a Great Business Opportunity starting a Business for less than $100.00 "IF" you are given you're own Region within the Balloon Distraction's Organization, I could only imagine how many applications they will receive after their appearance on the Shark Tank. The detailed questions asked on the Application Form is really like no other application I have ever seen, and for good reason. You're going to have to "earn that region" by proving you are as dedicated and motivated as much as  Ben Alexander is to putting smiles on children's faces.

Balloon Distractions before Shark Tank Update

To my knowledge Balloon Distractions is the first Business Opportunity ever on the Shark Tank that requires very little money up front. They could care a less how much money you have, but very much care if you're the right fit for this business. It's a Great Idea that creates lots of new fun jobs and guaranteed to make thousands of children very happy. What's not to like about the Balloon Distraction's Business?

How much a national restaurant chain pays per hour or per event is the $64 question. The "Book an Event" page on the website doesn't give any clues other than they are already booked-up before their Shark Tank episode. LOL, this is only the beginning of a major "good" storm headed their way after this very creative idea is known to millions of viewers.

  1. This is Ben Alexander here, thank you for the great post! 2 small corrections:

#1. This is NOT a franchise, our Regional Partners are a "partner" in that given region, they do not have the same legal status as a franchisee, nor are we a franchisor.

Are Regional Partners are Independent Contractors / Distributors of our service.

#2. Our Starter Kit for any Independent Contractor who joins us is about $50, plus shipping.

If possible please remove any mention of the word "franchise" from your post, we do not want to be misleading in any way.

The largest expense for any Regional Partner will be the gas in their own vehicle needed to sell restaurant clients and the time spent doing so,

    Thank You!
