Sun Staches on Shark Tank
If there's one sure-fire way to become very successful in a short amount of time, it's to create a fun product Celebrities personally love to promote and wear themselves. The Sun Staches is such a product already having a huge following of Celebrity's sporting a pair of Mustache Sunglasses. This alone has amounted to millions of dollars worth of "free publicity" in a very short amount of time.
The entrepreneurs behind the Sun Staches Mustache Sunglasses is David Levich, Eric Liberman, and Dan Gerson who will be appearing on Shark Tank Episode 605 this Friday night, October 17, 2014. The three Best Friends have taken the Mustache Sunglasses from a funny joke, to a multi-million dollar serious business that continues to grow at record pace. The entire process from the initial idea to functioning proto-type consisted of a whopping 15 minutes of pure brainstorming that would change their lives forever.
Who would have ever thought such a crazy idea like adding a fake mustache to a pair of sunglasses would grow into a multi-million dollar business, and then get featured on the Shark Tank further looking to expand the Sun Staches Brand.
The Sun Staches may have first started off attaching a mustache to a pair of sunglasses, but have since then added several other unique attachments if you "really" want to stand out in the crowd. Perhaps a pair of Fiesta Shades is more to your liking? Or maybe the Cat Mask with little ears, whiskers and a cute little nose is more your style? The possibilities are endless for character's and disguises the Sun Staches can instantly transform you into just as fast as you can put on a pair of sunglasses.
Sun Staches before the Shark Tank Update
The Sun Staches has approximately 30 different styles of mustache sunglasses to choose from, with several different new styles soon-to-be released. If you still can't find the perfect set of Sun Staches that suits your personality, but have a unique idea of your own, you can submit your idea to their creative department for further evaluation.
Obviously one profitable strategy for the Sun Staches is securing licensing deals with large corporations in the cartoon and movie industry further expanding the brand. Considering how successful Liberman, Levich and Gerson have already become before their Shark Tank appearance, this would seem like a good strategic move with the Sharks help to open those doors. But those doors are already open, wide open in fact.
As near as I can tell, licensing deals with Warner Brother's, Universal and Nickelodeon were already in place before the Sun Stanches walked into the Shark Tank. I'd imagine having those deals already in place, backed by a growing list of high profile celebrity's freely promoting your product; they could open lots of new doors without the Sharks help. So that's not the problem, but financing all those new pairs of mustache sunglasses into so many new verticals, could easily require a Shark-type investment on a major scale.
