Shark Tank Show coming to "The View"
Shark Tank on Day Time and Night time - 2/15/2013
The Shark Tank Show continues to Rank #1 on Friday Night's and now it's coming to the #1 Day Time Show "The View".this Friday. That's Right Shark Tank Fans, we get a double dose of the best REAL reality show on television about a subject that I love, Business. Mark Cuban, Daymond John and Lori Greiner will be guests on the popular Daytime Show and will participate in a Shark Tank-like panel where a few lucky Entrepreneurs will pitch their inventions on The View.
The View is hosting a Reality Show Guest Co-Host Week with Nene Leakes, Brandi Glanville, Abby Lee Miller and our favorite, Mark Cuban from February 18th to the 22nd. On Friday the 22nd, Mark will be joined by his business partners Daymond John and Lori Greiner and dedicating the entire hour to the Shark Tank Show and how much of a success it has become from helping hundreds of Entrepreneurs reach their financial dreams as a direct result. This show gives the little guy with Big Dreams a fighting chance to get the publicity and financial backing to turn some incredible ideas into profitable businesses.
During the hour they will also have a few very lucky entrepreneurs pitch their ideas in front of the 3 Sharks for a chance to get a deal just as if they were on the real Shark Tank Show. Most likely these are folks that tried out for the Shark Tank but did not make the final cut for the show. That's my guess but it stands to reason this is one way to still give them publicity for a good idea that almost made it to Prime Time.
The Sharks have already done similar mini-Shark Tank sessions on other popular Talk Shows including two times on the Anderson Cooper Show. The first time was last March 2012 was when Daymond John invested $100,000.00 in the Biddy Belly. Robin's presentation was flawless while asking for a 50/50 deal that made this deal a no brain er for John.
They also featured a glow in the dark crochet needle that was kind of cool but unfortunately she did not read the Shark Tank Success Blog or she would of known not to tell the Sharks to "shut up and listen to me" which instantly turned them all off no matter how good of an idea it was.
In October 2012 all 5 Sharks participated in another Shark Tank-like Show on Anderson Cooper in which one idea from a young man had interest from two Sharks Lori Greiner and Daymond John. He was looking for $207,000.00 for a swimming pool game called "Chuck the Duck". He didn't get the money but did get the Sharks to commit to helping further it's development. .
As they refine this very unique way of getting new fans for the Shark Tank, it should be interesting on the products they choose for The View. If you happen to miss it, no problem, just come on back because we will do a recap on any of the products/ inventors really stick out of the crowd.
Update: Cool Cap's on The ViewGreen Paxx "Cool Caps" Makes Deal on "The View" with Mark Cuban?
Thanks to Twitter we have already found one unique product that will be on The View this Friday morning with Mark Cuban, Daymond John and Lori Greiner. Cindy has invented a universal beverage cap that fit's on almost any cup in your cupboard. This very cleaver lid has two ring's built in to the cap which makes this claim possible as it snugs around most cups. She has also invented a re-usable straw made out of non toxic silicone which fit's inside the cap and makes a to-go cup out of any cup. It's a very interesting story how and even why Cindy developed the Cool Caps and the Cool Straws in the first place.
Uncle Louie G's Italian Ices
Uncle Louie G's Italian Ices and Ice Cream owner Dino Russo of Staten Island will also be on The View trying to get an investment in his already very popular and success business. We'll not really. What makes the Shark Tank Show the show that it is and why I love to watch it, is because of potentially helping entrepreneurs with a great idea take it farther then they can even imagine at that time. They truly want and need that investment and more importantly, the knowledge and the contacts that the Sharks could offer as a business partner. Then for some reason the producer's will throw in an already very established Brand that has no intentions of even considering making a deal with any of the Sharks. I certainly can not argue with the fact that the Shark Tank Effect is powerful for any business that can align itself with the show, but if you are only looking for the publicity, then you are taking the opportunity away from someone that really does want to work with the Sharks.
Dino Russo actually did try out for the Shark Tank but his application was sent in late and did not make the cut. He was however asked to come on The View instead and pitch his Italian Ices to a panel of 3 Sharks and 2 of the Hosts on The View. I can already tell you he did not get a deal for his 60 stores in 7 States because he never intended to sell any of the business. He does not need their money but gladly will accept all the publicity that will come along with his appearance. Can you blame him? Heck no, he did not make that final decision to pass over more traditional upstart businesses in favor of an already very successful brand. He must of sent in one heck of a video!
