Stella Valle on the Shark Tank

Custom Jewelry - Season 4 - Episode 423 - 4/19/2013
Stella Valle on the Shark tank season 4, episode 423
Ashley Jung and Paige Dellavalle
Inventors of the Stella Valle Collection
The Stella Valle is a jewelry line inspired by two West Point Cadet Army Officers and Sisters Paige Dellavalle and Ashley Jung. The two very close sister's completed their commitment to our country back in 2009 and started the Stella Valle jewelry Line to compliment the more edgier side the military brings out in you. Transforming back to civilian life after years in the service takes time for anyone that has gone through the process. Helping to bring back their feminine side, but not forget where they came from, is what the Stella Valle Jewelry Line represents.

Ashley and Paige also have two other sisters that are still in the military, but apparently not in the Stella Valle Business just yet as they are both still on active duty. Can you imagine having four daughters all in the military? I'm assuming at least one of their parents was also in the military for all four girls to devote themselves to our country, but there's no mention that I can find to support this. Either way, it's a great beginning for another Success Story after millions of people (and thousands of Vets) learn about the Stella Valle Jewelry Line on the Shark Tank Show.

Stella Valle Before the Shark Tank

It's hard not to notice the similarities between the Stella Valle Jewelry line and the Litter Jewelry also seen on the Shark Tank in which Daymond John and Mark Cuban invested in during season 3. During this particular deal, both Daymond and Mark wanted a 51% controlling interest to turn the company into the success it has become today. My moneys on they will also see the similarities and would be interested in the same type of deal as structured for the Litter Jewelry Line. But this time they are dealing with Seasoned Military Officer's that might not be interested in giving up controlling interest on their company. Ashley and Paige already have the Stella Valle line in several Bloomingdale locations and several other jewelry stores across the country. Look for this number to explode after episode 423 airs this Friday Night whether they get a deal with the sharks or not.

Stella Valle Update

Ashley and Paige will be hosting a Shark Tank airing party at the Dream Hotel in New York City for those lucky enough to attend. If you happen to be in NYC on April 19, this is one party you don't want to miss.

Knowing which Shark might be there just might tell you who invested in the Stella Valle Jewelry Line.
Now what was the name of the Shark who has an office in New York?

  1. Love it. Had to Google them before they even finished speaking about their line. Don't know if they even have a deal yet but I'm looking to buy! Where do I get it online?

  2. Anonymous12:59 PM

Their dresses were more appropriate for the club rather than a business presentation but WOW!!! Those women are beautiful!!!

  3. Anonymous5:14 PM

The jewelry is not at all to my taste but I hope the women do well, and I thank them for their service.

  4. I'm going nuts because I KNOW I saw this episode a long time ago and NOW everywhere I look it says this thing aired like less than a month ago. I feel like the internet is making me think I'm nuts. Does anyone else remember seeing this a long time ago. Like in Season 3?

    1. Ashley and Paige were actually scheduled to first air last Month just moments before they caught that kid bomber from the marathon. ABC decided to reschedule this episode which is why they had the 2 hour finale last night.

Perhaps you are thinking of the other two sister's that have a jewelery line "Litter Jewelery" from season 3? As far as I know Stella Valle has never been on the shark tank prior to last nights episode.

Congratulations Ladies you made a great deal.

  5. I'm Curious on the math. Paige is 22 and Ashley is 28, if Paige was an officer cadet she must have had a college degree. So assuming a 4 year degree she would just be finishing college around now or last year. She would have had to make at least a 4 year commitment to the Army, so that would make her 26 before she got out.

Then we take the above statement on this page "The two very close sister's completed their commitment to our country back in 2009 " that would make Paige 30. Even if she was an over achiever this math doesn't work.

I don't want to rain on their parade, but it doesn't appear everything they said on Shark Tank was completely true.

    1. Anonymous6:02 AM

She got out weeks after graduating, the they both served term is being used very loosely i guess

  6. Anonymous9:17 AM

Paige had a shoulder surgery which prevented her from being deployed. 22 is not her correct age. She was born in 1987.

    Ashley is now 31.

I was a bit surprised by how much the Sharks were into these ladies. Yes, they served and that's fantastic but they kept commenting on what a great story they had. Story? They served, that's not a story, that's a previous job (or present if they're active). A story is serving and XYZ harrowing thing happened that puts you in awe of what they're doing now (hmm, what could do that for jewelry?). Or, serving alone could be a story if it's relevant to the product like that Marine with the field tested nutrition supplement. Past service and jewelry making don't have a connection.

Anyway, presenters aside, I wasn't particularly impressed with the product. Nothing proprietary or innovative and the jewelry field is already saturated. Their numbers weren't particularly impressive and although a trunk show is a good start, it doesn't say much. Many other people have been run off the show with just letters of interest or one location representation in a national company. This product isn't even IN Bloomingdales! I think Lori and Mark just felt a tug at the heart strings, because like Mr. Wonderful saw, the numbers weren't the ones selling this presentation.

Sometimes just being on the show can boost sales. To be honest, I ordered the scones that were presented( I love scones) because they were half price for a dozen... I never would have paid almost 30 dollars for them, but for 14.00 I thought I would try... the folks that come into the tank sometimes offer nice deals to get you interested.

I will not go back, however, to pay full price for the scones, UNLESS they are out of this world. My local Panera offers some pretty delicious ones to enjoy with my coffee. That being said, I pretty much agree with most of what you said. I am forever grateful for their service, but there jewelry was a bit odd for me. I don't want to wear bullet jewelry; just not my style.

The father is not a vet, he's a successful builder in NJ. They have 4 daughters, 3 went to West Point and 1 to the Army's medical school. They're amazing - all 4 of them. I think a lot gets edited out so you might not see a lot of their "story". Good for them, they deserve it.

  9. Anonymous7:20 PM

Laurie and Mark went in together - it was on tonight. Cudos to Ashley and Paige. Trying to access the webpage - can not get anywhere with internal errors. I'll try again
