Shark Tank Books

Books Written by the Sharks on the Shark Tank Show

Books written by the Shark Tank Investors  It really is amazing how reading the "right book's" can change your life forever. I can still remember when I was given my first copy of "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, when I was only 14 years old and just won an award for a MLM company I was involved with. When I was walking off the stage, one of the highest ranking associates in the room handed me his copy of the book and simply said "I believe this belongs to you". Not really being much of a reader before that time, I must of read it cover to cover at least a dozen times until the pages started falling out.

Yes, a good book really can change your life even if it's only a single new idea that triggers something in your mind to think a little differently. That one new way of thinking that may be the very road block keeping you from where you "really" want to go. Finding a mentor in the types of books you read can pay huge dividends IF you choose to take their advise and learn what made them successful.

If your a Shark Tank Fan and love learning about the Sharks and what it took them to get to the top in their professions, then what better way too learn then reading their books. Now if your a future contestant on the Shark Tank or have any plans of doing so, then this could also be considered required reading to learn as much about your future business partner(s). It really is in your best interest to learn as much about all the Shark's as you can before going on the Show.

Mark Cuban's Book is appropriately named How to Win at the Sport of Business: If I Can Do It, You Can Do It. Mark has collected all the best articles from his popular blog, “Blog Maverick,” into a handbook on what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. Cuban’s book begins as a rags-to-riches story when he was selling powdered milk and basically homeless into owning a multi-billion dollar company, Feeling the Internet was about to burst, Mark wisely sold his company to Yahoo for $5.9 Billion before the crash.

Mark also has a kindle addition called Mark Cuban: In His Own Words which is a curated collection of all his famous quotes and advise in his own words on what it takes to succeed.

Branding Expert Daymond John goes into great detail in his book The Brand Within: The Power of Branding from Birth to the Boardroom .  From growing up on the streets of New York, to building his reputation (His Brand) into a multi-billion dollar industry one relationship at a time, is what makes Daymond an expert in this field. It's just a Great Motivational Story which explains why he is in always in high demand at conferences and speaking engagements.

Daymond also has his own kindle book specifically talking about the Shark Tank Show. For a couple of bucks you can download the Closed Door Training Shark Tank Millionaire Daymond John where he goes into great detail how to properly pitch your invention's to the Sharks or any investor for that matter. John also goes into great detail about proper negotiating skills and getting your product launched for success.

Barbara Corcoran's Book Shark Tales: How I Turned $1,000 into a Billion Dollar Business could just as easily be found in the motivational section of the bookstore just as appropriately found in the business section. Barbara, just like the two Sharks mentioned above, was not born with a silver spoon or wealthy parents to help build her multi-billion dollar enterprise. In fact Corcoran admits she had a hard time  keeping a "real job" and went through 22 jobs before deciding she needed to control her own destiny. Parlaying a $1000 loan, Barbara built it into a $6 billion dollar business and gave her the credentials it takes to get on the Shark Tank. Great story!

Kevin O'Leary has a book all about MONEY. The Cold Hard Truth On Men, Women, and Money: 50 Common Money Mistakes and how to avoid them. Kevin wrote this book so that other people including his own son and daughter can learn first hand how to avoid the financial mistakes he has already made. Whether you like Kevin or not, his advise is solid and could help save you a lot of money avoiding these money pits. This is a MUST READ for all ages no matter how much money you are already making. Remember that single idea mentioned above? You may find more then a few of them in this book that could change your financial future Forever.

Lori Greiner doesn't have her book out yet but does have the "Hero or Zero App" available for Free Download which helps determine if your idea has a good chance to succeed. If your going to be on the Shark Tank when Lori is on the show then it might be in your best interest to see how your invention stacks up against the Hero or Zero App.

Robert Herjevic's Book Driven: How To Succeed In Business And In Life is yet another rags-to-riches story that propelled Robert from waiting on tables too starring on two different Reality Business Shows Dragons Den and of course the Shark Tank. Robert's story could also be considered a motivational book where he goes into great detail when he sold his first Internet company to AT&T for over $100 million before starting the Herjevic Group which is offers sophisticated Internet security for businesses.

Kevin Harrington has a Great Book out called Act Now!: How I Turn Ideas into Million-Dollar Products.
