Steve Jobs Classic Pitch on Dragons Den
U.K. Version of the Shark Tank Show
Back in 2010, before the iPad became a household name, Steve Jobs the CEO of Apple, needed to raise some much needed capital to fund his new invention. At the time the US Dollar was at a disadvantage to the Euro, so Steve packed his bags in search of a Angel Investor on the UK Dragon Den Show, our version of the Shark Tank.
The Dragons were not very nice to Jobs as one of them went out as soon as he heard the new inventions name, the iPad. Another investor tells him the novelty factor will wear out and the Apple software is O.K.ish at best.
The Lady Dragon can't really make her mind up and says it's a coin toss if she would even consider owning a stake in the iPad. Steve Jobs tries to tell the Dragons all these cool new things we can do with this gadget, but is quickly silenced by the Lady Shark. She demands that Steve be quiet so she can think.
Yet another Shark likes this thin little table that Jobs has invented, but thinks Steve would be very hard to work with and also proceeds to go out.
The last remaining Dragon who is very successful with a net worth in the millions, proceeds to tell Steve Jobs the billionaire, that he thinks he would bring too much to the deal. But if Steve Jobs should ever want to work for his world wide organization, he would be happy to give him a job.
No Deal For Steve Jobs!
I wish Steve could of came to the Shark Tank because He would of made a Great Shark.
