Vurtego on Shark Tank
Extreme Pogo Stick - Season 2 - Episode 202 - Update
|The Vurtego V3 Pogo Stick|
Super Cool New Extreme Sport!
Brian Spencer, the Owner of Vurtego Pogo Sticks also has a patent on the design with this unique spring that allows you to do pogo tricks once unimaginable.
Brian came to the Shark Tank looking for a $500,000.00 investment in exchange for a 20% equity stake in the pogo stick business. With such a superior product then anything else on the market, Brian strongly believes these Extreme Pogo Sticks can revolutionize the entire industry with the new tricks that are now being done. Watching someone that is experienced jumping on one of these things, really is amazing.
Before Spencer can realize his dream of mass producing the pogo sticks, he needs an investment from the Sharks to help cover the much needed capital required to get to that point. He can build one for $100 and sells them for $330 with is a decent mark-up, but is it enough to interest the Sharks?
With such a cool invention the Sharks all agree that Brian is on to something with potential to become very successful as a specialty product. Barbara Corcoran can easily see someone getting hurt on a Vurtego Stick when it's capable of reaching extremely high heights. Mark Cuban thinks the way to build this business is to keep it out of mass production and more of a specialized new sport. All the Sharks agree and no one is willing to put up the $500k Brian was asking for to complete this deal.

Getting your business or invention featured on any National TV Show is a Dream for many, but having your invention featured on at least a dozen has become reality for the Vurtego Pogo Stick.
The tricks you can do on these pogo sticks is so mesmerizing they've so far been featured on The Jay Leno Show, Conan O'Brian, David Letterman, The Today Show, The History Channel, Modern Marvels, Fox News, L.A. Times, New York Times and of course the Shark Tank Show to name a few.
Oddly enough I already had this product in the Que to do an update on when I just seen an amazing commercial today with the Vurtego Pogo Stick. My Son happened to say "Hey Dad look at those guys jumping over rocks". I immediately said "that looks like the Vurtego seen on the Shark Tank I'm doing an article on". I was pleasantly surprised at the end of the commercial to see it was in fact them and not a cheaply made knockoff.
If your the Adventurous Type looking for a New Extreme Sport that'll have you bouncing farther then you could have ever imagined, and might become the next Shaun White on a pogo stick.
