Haunted Hayrides and the

Melissa started Ten Thirty One Productions back in 2009 with one goal in mind, to make the very best haunted hayrides imaginable. In the first four years over 100,000 people forked over an average of $30 each to ride one of her now famous rides that's open16 days each year at Griffith Park.
With numbers like these, there are clearly some big bucks to be made hosting Haunted Hayrides, but what about the other 11 1/2 months out of the year? We'll if the hayride wasn't enough to scare the heck out of you, then you might like to go spend the night at the Great Horror Sleep Over and see if you still feel the same.
It's one thing to get on a big wagon and take a ride with around the park, its quite another when you're spending the entire night in a tent knowing there's lots of scary things that will be visiting you with one very scary goal in mind. The best advice is bring an extra pair of shorts because you're going to need them before the night is over.
Ten Thirty One Productions Pre Shark Tank Update
The timing couldn't be more perfect having the Haunted Hayrides featured on the Shark Tank Show right before Halloween. It looks like a great (although a little expensive) place to take the Family out for a scary good time. But the Sharks aren't interested in getting scared, they are only interested in how much money can they make for investing in the Haunted Hayrides. If averaged over the first 4 years in business, Ten Thirty One Productions takes in around $750k per year which does look impressive at first sight.
That's some serious money being made in such a short amount of time, but then it all comes to a complete halt after Halloween is over. I could only imagine all the planning and expenses it would take to pull off such a large event, not to mention the large crew it would take for things to run smoothly. Hopefully Carborne will go more in depth in the numbers when she's on the Shark Tank and see how profitable this business has become.
Unfortunately Melissa Carborne and Ten Thirty One Productions arn't very interested in promoting she's going to be on the Best Business Reality Show in History. Both Twitter and Facebook pages have been updated recently, but not a single mention she's going on the Shark Tank Show. Statistically speaking which still is batting a perfect 1000, usually means the contestant did not get a deal while on the Show.
It's something I probably will never understand why any "For Profit Business" wouldn't take full advantage of the Best Marketing and Advertising money just can't buy for any price. Hopefully I'm wrong about this one because with sales numbers like this, just imagine having a dozen Haunted Hayrides all over the country. It would probably be a logistical nightmare to think that big, but the numbers would be very impressive indeed.
Deal or no deal, Shark Tank Episode 509 is guaranteed to be a scarring good time.
