Kodiak Cakes on Shark Tank
The more I learn about these Kodiak Cake's, the more I'm convinced this business is destined to become a Super Successful Shark Tank Product. First off you need a superior and healthier product to compete in the multi-billion dollar Pancake and Waffle Mix Industry. Next you'll need a razor-sharp marketing edge that absolutely makes your product stand out above-and-beyond any competition. Also, as with all Successful Shark Tank products, it helps to have a great story how you're business first began, and yes, the Kodiak Cake's also has a very interesting story indeed.

Flapjack and Waffle Mix
When figuring out where the Kodiak Cake's is already sold in retail stores, I think it might be easier listing who doesn't carrying KodiakCake's than who already sells these tasty one minute muffins. I don't know about you, but I sure can't remember any product Featured on the Shark Tank that's already available at Wal-Mart, Target, Albertson's, Safeway, The Fresh Market, Randalls and Tom Thumb just to name a few. Kodiak Cake's also has a full line-up at Amazon.com available for "Prime Shipping" on their most popular Flapjack and Waffle Mixes.
Baker Mills "Kodiak Pancake's" before Shark Tank UpdateSo how do you take a great tasting super simple to make pancake and waffle mix, and receive a whole bunch of priceless publicity for pennies on the dollar? Next to getting featured on the Shark Tank Show that really has become "priceless" for most contestants, is to get a bunch of bloggers to review your product, and really hope they like it enough to write about it. Whatever the advertising budget was set aside to send Kodiak Cake's to a list of Bloggers for review, no doubt this strategy has paid huge dividends, and will continue to do so for many years to come. I'm not exactly sure which Clark came up with this marketing plan, but "It was a Fantastic Idea" that's generating loads of free Internet traffic.
As far as Kodiak Cake's getting a deal on the Shark Tank, I don't know, are there any Grocery Store's left that's not already carrying this obviously popular Food Brand? :-)
Did I mention the Clark's also sell the "Big Bear Brownie Mix" to go along with the Flapjack and Waffle mixes, and continue to add new products to the Baker Mills Brand? Yes I do believe there's plenty of new Grocery Store's that will soon carry this Cool Looking Brand, (I really like the packaging) and all of them giving the Baker Mills Brand more shelf-space as the Kodiak Cake's continues to expand.
Deal or no deal, just knowing how many store's already carry the Kodiak Cake products should lead to a set of very interesting negotiations. Can the Shark's help an already powerful and very established Kodiak Bear Cake's become even bigger? They may have to dig a little deep if they want to invest in this one.
