Whether you like it or not, chances are you're going to wake up with a little Morning Head.
What? Yes, there really is a product called "Morning Head", and this product does a good enough job, it's made its way on this Friday night's episode of the Shark Tank Show. Yes I know what you're probably thinking, what the heck is Morning Head, and what does it have to do with Shower Caps, right? That's a great question, and one Max Valverde, from Needham, MA, and the inventor of Morning Head, will describe in detail to the Shark's on March 21, 2014.

The Morning Head Shower Cap could best be described as a bed head cure for messy hair in the morning. If you're in a big hurry and don't have time to jump in the shower or stick your head under the sink, you can simply put on this shower cap devise filled with a cup of water on your head instead.

to work in 5 seconds
Valverde first took his clever Morning Head for men invention to Kickstarter just a little over 2 years ago where he successfully raised over 600% of his original goal. In the video Max made to show off the Morning Head in action, He's the first to admit this is not the product to wear in public, but more like taking a quick 5 second shower, as far as your hairs concerned anyway.

Morning Head before Shark Tank Update:

The Reviews on Morning Head Shower Cap are overwhelming positive this product does indeed work to get rid of the "just woke up look" within seconds. I think most of us have woken up a few mornings and wish we had a MorningHead devise instead of taking the time to jump in the shower, but is this product something the Shark's would consider investing in?

The simple breakdown of this market's potential most likely will have a few Sharks dropping out rather fast, as they usually prefer "single product businesses" to have extremely large target markets. I believe it was Kevin O'leary a few weeks ago that broke down the potential market for a recent contestant on the Shark Tank, until it was much too defined for most outside investors.

Considering the Morning Head is marketed specifically for males, (as far as I can tell) this immediately eliminates half the population even though females wake up with the same hair problem. The shower cap also comes in a "one size fits all", so this product may not be as effective for males with to long of hair either. Now if there was also a larger Morning Head product for females with longer hair, adding one more product to the line, more than doubles the potential market.

This will no doubt be a very interesting set of negotiations as the Sharks decide whether the MorningHead Shower Cap has what it takes to become a global product.

  1. This is a good startup idea, since a shower cap is used practically by a number of people. It is even possible that this Morning Head shower cap will soon be used as habitual as the shampoo and conditioner. Well, for entrepreneurs in London who have brilliant startup ideas and needing an angel investor, feel free to pitch it to an angel investor named iSeed.

  2. Why not just wet down a washcloth and rub it on your head?

That is actually what a bad man calls a comb.

  3. Anonymous10:22 PM

    It's just not the same...

  4. You need to market this to hospitals.. People who can't bath everyday.

    1. Anonymous7:39 PM

They already have shampoo based wash caps in hospitals.
