Ah yes, I still remember dreaming about becoming a Rock Star as if it was yesterday. Somehow a few of my friends and I talked our parents into going to a KISS Concert when we were 14 years old. We had all the albums and knew most of the songs by heart, but seeing our favorite musicians jamming on that stage left a memorable impression that would change our lives. There was no doubt about it, we were going to start our own Rock Band (minus all the make-up) and tour the world. But there was one small little problem, none of us knew how to play any instruments, and we sure couldn't sing.

Our dreams of becoming professional musicians was stronger than our lack of instruments, and it wasn't long before we talked our parents out of two guitars and a snare drum between our 5 member Rock Band. After a few jamming sessions, we quickly realized it might be a good idea if we took a few music lessons, and four of us managed to get into the same music class in junior high school. We were all pumped up and ready to rock the world. That is until our music teacher completely destroyed our dream with his not so fun way learning to play our chosen instruments.

I sometimes still wonder what might of become of our little Rock Band if we had a better music teacher that was more understanding as to "why" we wanted to learn to play those instruments in the first place. We didn't want to sit around doing those repeated drills over and over, we wanted to play songs like "Smoke on the Water", which incidentally is the only song I still know how to play.

Now all these years later, it has me wondering, if there was a company like Taylor Robinson Music back then, who knows, those dreams of becoming a professional musician may of become reality. O.K. maybe not the Rock Star part, but the motivation and the passion just to play an instrument.

What makes Taylor Robinson Music Lessons different than anything else I have ever seen, is the sheer number of professional musicians, music writers and instructors to choose from all around the country. Taylor Robinson, the owner of Taylor Robinson Music, is coming to the Shark Tank this Friday night in episode 524, with a list of over 380 pages full of professional musicians you can hire by the hour. For as little as $37.50 per hour, you can learn to play just about any instrument imaginable from a dedicated teacher who you choose from this growing list.

Taylor Robinson Music before Shark Tank Update

It looks like Taylor Robinson Music has been in business since 2005 which would explain how they already have thousands of professional musicians listed on the website. I also found a few recent Craigslist posts where they're actively hiring more musicians in certain areas, which is always a good thing to see. Apparently the screening process to become a certified instructor for Taylor Robinson Music is not easy, and on average only 15% of those who apply will be accepted.

Will Taylor Robinson Music be singing in a big financial deal inside the Shark Tank? If other musical related products that have already been featured on the Show like the "Cord Buddy Guitar Learning System" are any indication, Taylor Robinson seems to have all the right pieces in place to become a Very Big Success Story in record time.
