Baker's Edge "patented" Baking Pans on
Shark Tank Season 5 Finale 5/16/2014
To become successful you first need to solve a problem better than anyone else, right? Some of the most successful products have come from taking an old invention and making it better. In the case of Baker's Edge Baking Pans, I guarantee after you learn about this product, you will never look at "any" baking pan quite the same ever again. I'm personally not a baking-type person and burned just about every batch of brownies I've ever made. But I do love my brownies, and especially the edge pieces that always disappear first. Who would have thought to invent a baking pan designed so that all the brownies have edges? Now that's a good idea, A Very Good Idea!

Baker's Edge Brownie Pan
The entrepreneurs behind these revolutionary baking pans made by Baker's Edge are Matt and Emily Griffin, who will be appearing in the Shark Tank Finale Episode 527. It looks like Baker's Edge has been in business since 2006 first selling the single item the brownie pans, and then a larger version in 2009 that makes perfect lasagna every time. The Baker's Edge sales peaked in 2010 at $2 million when this product was featured on the Oprah Show. Current annual revenue has since leveled out with sales closer to $350k after the "Oprah Effect" ran its course. We all know how powerful Oprah can have on just about any business out there, but now, now Matt and Emily are going to experience the forever lasting "Shark Tank Effect" which will continue paying huge dividends for many years to come.

Here's a video of Matt and Emily explaining how the Baker's Edge Pans was first was invented, and why this product is the best professional patented baking pans on the market. By the looks of this video, yes no doubt about it, the Sharks are going to have their hands full with this couple whose product and personalities might be too irresistible to resist.

Baker's Edge before Shark Tank Update

I assume the Griffins will bring up how many orders came in for the Baker's Edge products after being seen on the Oprah Show, which certainly will spark the Sharks interest early on. The fact they already have a brownie baking pan, a lasagna pan and now a better making muffin pan, shows the Baker's Edge is not a one hit wonder, but a Brand with a better way too bake just about anything imaginable. With the success of all the orders that are sure to come in after the season finale of the Shark Tank, Baker's Edge will also be adding to the list a loaf pan, pie pan and a cake pan to further build on this Brands success.

As far as Baker's Edge getting a deal on the Shark Tank, that answer might be a very easy one. If even a single Shark habitually eats the brownie edges first, they'll have no problems realizing this is one sweet deal. On the other hand, the Sharks have an extremely high percentage rate "not investing" in businesses with declining sales figures from the past. If the Griffins can convince the Sharks this huge order spike was a direct result from appearing on Oprah, and the new longer lasting promotion from the Shark Tank has the potential to break new records, the Baker's Edge Brand could easily be one of the few company's the Sharks make an exemption to this unwritten rule.

No matter what happens this Friday night on Shark Tank Season 5 Finale, Matt, Emily and the Bakers Edge Brand will be a Huge Hit with Baking Fans around the world. Why would anyone want to make brownies any other way?
