Interview with Shark Tank Contestant
As much as I love watching the Shark Tank Show learning about the latest new inventions, I really love learning about the entrepreneur's behind those ideas and what it "really" takes to succeed on a large scale. The Shark Tank Show is as real as it gets with the Sharks investing their own money, but first and foremost this IS a Reality Show First. The average contestant spends close to an hour inside the Shark Tank, and yet we're lucky to see 12 minute's during these life changing moments. Learning about what really happened with the Sharks, and just as important, what's happened to the Business after the Show, can best be told in a live interview. I think I have seen and listened to every single Shark Tank Contestant interview that's on the Internet, and without a doubt, one of the very best most inspiring interviews is with Shelly Ehler from Show No Towels.
This inspirational interview was done by Rachel Olsen from Best Mom Products who's done a wide range of interviews with Mompreneurs including a few Very Successful Shark Tank Contestants. Rachel's interview with Shelly Ehler starts out on a low note when she admits a lot of fan mail came after her Shark Tank appearance, but only 200 Show No Towels were sold. Shelly also made a deal with Lori Greiner to get these custom poncho towels immediately on QVC, only to learn they do not accept kids products on their Show. Hmm, I'm still scratching my head over that one, wondering why QVC would make a business decision excluding the lucrative childrens market.
On a positive note, no matter what happens to the Show No Towels in the future, (it's financially doing very good BTW) Shelly has found her true passion because of her appearance on the Shark Tank. This is one motivational video you can't help but get inspired after watching what Shelly has to say when it comes to achieving your own dreams, whatever they may be.
When Shelly isn't speaking at a motivational speaking engagement these days, she's found the time to start yet another online business called AllBlownUp.com which is quickly turning into another very successful business all it's own. Hey, if you can't make an event in person, just get yourself "All Blown Up" and still be the hit of the party. #GreatIdea
