Shark Tank Week Schedule (9/7/2014 - 9/12/2014)
Episode 511 - Sunday (9/7/2014)Barbara Corcoran is starting off "Shark Tank Week" this year with a new business that will knock your socks off, literally. Melissa and Rick Hinant, the owners of Grace & Lace, came into the Shark Tank with some already impressive online sales numbers, but nothing could have prepared them for what was about to come. I mean really, how much could you possibly make selling socks online, especially if they're customized? Well after completing a deal with Corcoran, and the "Shark Tank Effect" taking a firm grip shortly after episode 511 aired, would you believe over $1 million in sales within the first 5 days? A "Great Shark Tank Success Story" from season 5.
Episode 522 - Monday (9/8/2014)Mark Cubans "Shark Tank Week" pick from Season 5 seems like a perfect fit when combining his active lifestyle with his success in the entertainment industry.
The owners of Rugged Maniac, Rob Dickens and Bradford Scutter, have designed obstacle courses to kick your butt, and have a great time while you're doing it. In fact why not throw a party afterwards? Great Idea!
Episode 509 - Tuesday (9/9/2014)Lori Greiner always seems to invest in at least one very, very popular product each season, with this season being just as promising. In fact, the product Greiner chose to highlight during this year's "Shark Tank Week" in episode 509, is also one of my favorite product's I've personally used multiple time's on a number of projects. If you haven't tried this Fiber Fix Tape that's guaranteed to be 100 times stronger than duct tape, you'll never realize how super-strong this tape really is. Plumbers Beware! Fixing a leaking pipe (even under pressure) with Fiber Fix is about as easy as it gets.
Episode 513 - Wednesday (9/10/2014)Daymond John may be best known for his success in the fashion industry, but it was his taste buds that ultimately got his vote in this years Shark Tank Week. Everyone (at least that I know) loves Baby Back Ribs, but yes, they are a little messy. Al "Bubba" Baker, former pro football player and professional chef, patented his unique process of deboning baby back ribs which takes all the mess out of eating them. The Sharks (especially Daymond John) ate it up especially when told how successful "Bubbas BBQ Flagship Restaurant" had already become. This episode also covers when Daymond and Mark Cuban traveled to Washington, D.C. for the Kingonomics Entrepreneurship and Investment Conference where at least two new contestants were discovered.
Episode 512 - Thursday (9/11/2014)Robert Herjevic's choice for this years "Shark Tank Week" is another interesting customized product with BIG profit. Similar to Barbara Corcoran picking a customized product with strong online sales, Herjevic picks the Tipsy Elves Ugly Christmas Sweater. Again, who would have ever thought you could make over $8 million a year selling a seasonally customized product? There's big bucks in those Ugly Christmas Sweater's, especially when you have a Shark Tank investor such as Robert Herjevic backing you up.
- Tipsy Elves Ugly Christmas Sweaters
- Cashmere Hair Extensions
- Hanukkah Christmas Tree Topper
- Magnetic Christmas Lights
Episode 515 - Friday (9/12/2014)Kevin O'Leary's favorite episode for Season 5 ends this year's "Shark Tank Week" with a product almost too good to be true. In fact I just went back to the Groovebook's website to see if they still have the same low price for this quality product. Considering the high cost of quality photos these days, not to mention added shipping from a reputable supplier, how on earth can Groove Book make a profit charging only $2.99 for up to 100 smartphone picture's sent to you in book form? If you love taking and sharing photos, then this is one "Must Have App" with a price that really is too good to be true.
And for those wondering when the next Brand New Shark Tank Season 6 Episode begins, it's exactly two weeks after this Shark Tank Week ends on September 26th, starting with 2 new episodes on ABC. Also, if you still like watching the reruns as much as I do, CNBC will begin airing more Shark Tank episode's five nights a week starting Monday 9/22/2014.
