Shark Tank Episode 605
The entrepreneur behind the Caddy Girls is Meghan Jade Tarmey, who will be featured in Shark Tank Episode 605 on October 17, 2014. Meghan first started this all-female caddy service back in 2005 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and now wants to expand the Brand Nationwide. The Caddy Girls Golf Service is already available at several Golf Course's covering a dozen States, and from everything I can tell, this is the first "original" all-female caddy service ever created.
It looks like there's a few other caddy services already piggy-backing off the "Caddy Girls Name", so don't get confused if you're looking for the original, and the only All-Female Caddy Service to make it on the Shark Tank Show. To further grow the Brand and set the Caddy Girls apart from the competition, Tarmey also started an Entertainment, Modeling Agency and Calendar featuring all her Caddy Girls.
One of the main question's most people would like to know is "What exactly does a Caddy Girl do on the golf course"? Meghan answered this question simply saying "We do the same thing a boy caddy would do, yet we look MUCH better doing it"! Yep, that's good enough for me. Not only are all the Girls Models, they're also Certified Caddies that knows how to play the game of golf. That's the main thing, right?
Caddy Girls before the Shark Tank Update
It doesn't take a big stretch of the imagination to see this could become a very successful investment for the Sharks, especially when they find out how much money the Caddy Girls are generating. We'll have to wait until Episode 605 airs to find the percentage breakdown per caddy, but at a cost of $149.00 per 18 Holes, these should be some very impressive over-all numbers. This business model is not even taking into consideration the additional revenue created from the Modeling Agency and the popular Caddy Girls Calendar that's currently for sale.
The one concern a few Sharks may have is the growing competition from such a unique and very profitable business. You can't put a patent on an all-female caddy service, but you can build the #1 All-Female Caddy Brand in the Industry.
