The Martin's knew they had a great idea for a new gourmet food product within minutes of first popping a few of these magical mini-popcorn seeds. It was obvious this new little popcorn has several benefits compared with the larger kernels normally used by larger manufacturers, but Jeff and Jen wanted to create a brand new unique taste for the PIP Snacks Brand. So far the Martin's have perfected four new flavors including the Truffle, Sea Salt, Kettle and Rosemary Pipcorn.
Getting positive reviews for a new gourmet food product is a "must" if you want to succeed, or having any chance of getting on the Shark Tank Show for that matter. If you asked 1000 entrepreneurs, "If you could pick anyone, who would you choose to review your product that would help your business prosper the most?" Most likely all of them would say Oprah Winfrey without even thinking twice.
The "Oprah Effect" has become legendary for hundreds of products becoming very successful after making it on Oprah's Favorite Things List. But sometimes just making her famous list isn't good enough, and she takes the time to meet the entrepreneurs who invented her new favorite snacks.
Wow, the first thing that stands out is the packaging. That has to be the fanciest looking packaging for popcorn I've ever seen. Then again, this was for Oprah and turned out to be the most important batch of Pipcorn they ever popped. Pip Snacks was first featured in 2012, and again in 2013 which rarely happens with any product.
Pip Snacks before the Shark Tank Update:In just a few short years, the Pip Snacks Mini Popcorn has reviews from dozens of major news outlets all saying the same thing, "This is the Best Popcorn, Ever!" Even on Amazon the Pip Corn has a 5 Star Customer Review Ratings. As you might expect, this mini gourmet popcorn also comes with a gourmet price. The pipcorn is a gourmet snack unlike anything you've ever tasted, but worth every penny for its unique taste.
Watch Jeff and Jen Martin go inside the Shark Tank this Friday night on the 100th Special Episode, and see if they can get a Shark to pop for the mini pipcorn business.
