Drain Strain on Shark Tank
Permanently Unclog Drains - Episode 616 - Feb. 3, 2015
|Drain Strain Inventor Naushad Ali|
appearing on the next Shark Tank Show
Apparently the Drain Strain must have auditioned for the Shark Tank with a good idea and a prototype in hand, but no sales to speak of according to the timeline. Ali started a crowd funding campaign at Indiegogo on July 16, 2014 which was getting close the end of the Shark Tank auditions. Either way, the campaign ended September 14, 2014 raising only $2,000.00 from a $25,000.00 financial goal.
Here's the video Drain Strain used for the Indiegogo Funding Campaign demonstrating how this product permanently unclogs drains.
Drain Strain Reviews before the Shark Tank Show 2/3/2015
Sometimes I wonder how or why some products make it all the way on the Shark Tank, and, unfortunately, this is one of them. It's not because of raising only 1/10th of the financial goal or the invention itself that seems like a sound idea, but in the missed opportunity that appears Naushad is heading towards this close to the Show.
If I didn't know any better, it looks like Ali has already given up on the Drain Strain Invention even though it's about to get millions in free publicity this Tuesday night when Shark tank Episode 616 airs on ABC. The last time the Drain Strains FaceBook page was updated was during the Indiegogo Fund Raising Campaign.
Even worse, the Drain Strain website has been taken offline for I'm not sure how long. Maybe, just maybe my timing was off and the site's being updated right now before appearing on the Shark Tank. Speaking for thousands of Entrepreneurs that would love to be on the Show themselves, let's hope that's the case. There's nothing worse than a Failed Shark Tank product before the episode even airs.
If Naushad read this, "NOW is the time to start a New Crowd Funding Campaign". You'd be surprised how many Shark Tank Fan's are always willing to help if given the chance.
