Nap Well Napping Mask Seen On
Shark Tank Episode 619
Purposely making the Sharks sleepy during a sales pitch probably isn't the best strategy, but that's exactly what the Napwell Sleep Mask almost did. Justin Lee and Neil Joglekar, the inventors of the Napwell sleeping mask, came into the Shark Tank with a product specifically for taking daytime naps. At first site, there doesn't appear to be anything special about this napping mask invented by two highly educated Stanford, Harvard and MIT former students. It's not until you're ready to wake up from your nap the Nap Well Mask performs its magic slowly waking up in a more relaxed state.

Justin and Neil took the Napwell Mask first to Kickstarter to prove the concept with an initial $30,000.00 Goal last December in 2013. The crowd funding campaign successfully ended just shy of a year ago January 26, 2014, raising over $51,000.00 from 800 backers. According to the comments, it looks like all the financial backers are still waiting to receive the first shipment of the Napwell Lighted Masks. The updates over the past year are mostly blocked from public view that I've never seen before in any crowd funding campaign. Obviously there's a lot more technology to these timed lights inside a sleeping mask than meets the eye.

The Napwell Sleeping Mask Inventors was seeking $100,000.00 for only 10% stake to bring this New Shark Tank Product finally to market. The Highly Educated Team has about as impressive resumes as any inventors seen on the Shark Tank, but putting all their talent towards a napping mask had all the Sharks wondering why. When it got down to convincing the Sharks the Napwell Mask was worth the $1 million valuation, the only sales, thus far, was from the Kickstarter Campaign and no product shipped still to this day. Now I know why it was so hard locating the Napwell Masks prior to their appearance on the Shark Tank Show.

At the Napwell Sleep Mask website you can pre-order the Sleep Mask for $100 each. The estimated delivery time is expected in June of this year, so unfortunately it was not ready to take advantage of the Shark Tank Effect, at least with hard orders.

From what little information to go on prior to the Show, Shark Tank Success Blog took a calculated risk writing about the Misfit Wireless Activity and Sleep Monitor for two reasons. First off, it does fit the media guide description, and the owner's also involved in another Shark Tank product all five Sharks have invested in.

The other reason is a little more personal (NOW) as the article was also a little shark bait for another Shark Tank Blogger from Massachusetts. Son of a gun if he swallowed it hook, line and sinker even faster than expected. Yes, now I know for a fact it's you!

I guess I should "Thank You" for the "continued motivation" to keep making this "Shark Tank Blog" even better in the future. I'm not sure what your problem is, but you're very close to pissing off the wrong person.

  1. i had sleeping problems but when i start using one of these sleep mask and it works :)

  2. The sharks were wrong about the majority of people having trouble going to sleep. Me and many others I know have a harder time waking then falling asleep.
