Zine Pack on Shark Tank

Super Fan Mini Magazine's - Episode 624 - 4/24/2015

Super Fan Mini Magazines becoming valuable collectors items
Zine Packs becoming "Valuable Collectors Items"
with Super Fans around the World.
Can you imagine having such a great idea for a new business that Walmart wants exclusive distributor rights to your new start-up? That's exactly what happened to Brittany Hodak and Kim Kaupe, the entrepreneurs behind the Zine Pack Super Hero Magazines. They only needed to make a single phone call to start a multi-million dollar Super Fan Mini Magazine that's now become an "Official Shark Tank Product".

The Zine Pack is like a small magazine (Zine for short) dedicated with unique content and photos along with other collectibles Super Fans of Musicians, Celebrities and Sports Stars would naturally collect. The fact Zine Packs are made in limited editions per entertainer or event makes new releases of Zine Packs that much more collectible for future Super Fans.

This video shows how excited a Super Fan of Katy Perry's become's when she receive's a highly collectible Zine Pack from Ebay speaks volumes about this product's potential.

In the very first year after Zine Pack signed its first deal with Walmart, the company did over a $1 million in sales with limited edition bundles. The following year Super Fans bought over $3 million worth on Zine Packs. In 2013, Hodak and Kaupe's Super Fan Mini-Magazines generated over $10 million in revenue with no signs of slowing down. As near as I can tell, Zine Packs has already made at least $30 million in sales within the first few years as a business.

In addition to Katy Perry doing a limited edition Zine Pack for Her album Prism, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and even the Bieb have jumped on this bandwagon for Super Fans. Several other strong partnerships also been formed with the largest entertainment companies in the world, and large Brands including Miller Coors, Dr. Pepper, Dove UNICEF, Special Olympics and even the American Idol has jumped on board.

Zine Pack Reviews before Shark Tank Update

There's several videos and interviews about Zine Pack's appearance before being Featured on the Shark Tank. The one sticking out the most is when Brittany and Kim didn't seem interested in taking on any investment capital at that time. Did they anticipate the business would continue growing around 300% each year even with the initial boost coming from Walmart? Probably not, but one thing's for sure, the Zine Packs are becoming Big Business for Major Labels and Super Fans alike.

The main question is, "How can the Shark Tank Investors add more value to this already Very Successful product"? This is one set of negotiations I'm looking forward to seeing how high the valuation already is, and how much equity they're willing to give the Sharks. If the Sharks want a piece of the Zine Pack Mini Magazines, then they'll have to dig deep to complete this deal.
