Switch Halloween Candy Witch - Episode 705 - 10/23/2015

Halloween Tradition of switch candy for toys

The Switch Witch is coming to the Shark Tank in Episode 705 with a Halloween product that makes trick-or-treat candy disappear. Now why on earth would any Child willingly give up some of their Halloween treats to the Switch Witch? Well, It all starts with a magical storybook about why the Switch-Witch is visiting your home during the Halloween Season. She's a friendly witch that magically transforms excess Halloween candy into brand new toys, money or anything else you'd like to switch out if you give up enough treats.

The entrepreneurs representing the Switch Witch on the next Brand New Episode 705 of the Shark Tank is Rob Bouley and Lara Riley from Salem, MA. The Switch Witch is similar to other successful products including the "Elf on the Shelf" for Christmas, and the "Mench on the Bench" for celebrating Hanukkah as far as starting new Family traditions.

What makes The Switch Witch unique is its ability convincing your kids into giving away excess Halloween candy she'll take with her when she disappears until next year. It's a clever way to barter with your kid's trading candy for an early Christmas present instead of a trip to the Dentist office.

Rob and Laura first took the Switch Witch Doll, Cauldron and Illustrated Halloween Children's Book to Kickstarter in June of 2014 to help fund 2000 completed products. Unfortunately, the Switch-Witch didn't achieve the stated goal that's a requirement at Kickstarter to receive any funds from the financial backers. Soon after the crowd funding campaign, Bouley and Riley took their Halloween product to a Shark Tank Casting Call for Season 7 receiving positive reviews landing them on the Show.

Switch Witch Reviews before Shark Tank Update

The one interesting thing several Shark Tank Fans searching for the Switch Witch will find, is the competition for a similar Halloween product. In fact, the Switch Witches names and products are so close in comparison, I wasn't sure if Rob and Lara maybe had two different versions of the same Halloween related product. Unfortunately, for the Switch Witch appearing on the Shark Tank Show, it has some serious competition in the rankings that's already taking full advantage during Episode 705 this Friday night. It's hard to tell who invented the holiday concept with almost identical names first. But one thing is for sure, the Sharks will not like this fact if it goes to the "due diligence" stage after making a deal on the Show. How can a brand new Shark Tank Halloween product already have direct competition using the same exact "Switch Witch" Brand name? That's a great question that hopefully gets answered during Episode 705 this Friday night, 10/23/2015.

The reviews for "this" Switch Witch product has an overall positive rating of 4.9 Stars out of 5 Stars. The stuffed doll looks like you'd expect, but what makes the Switch Witch come to life is the magical children's book included. By far, the majority of 5 Star reviews is from the magical story and the illustrated pictures included in the book.
