Controlled Chaos Hair Care on Shark Tank
|Controlled Chaos "Use Me Products"|
appearing on the
Shark Tank in Episode 715
It looks like Alanna first took the "Use My Products" to a Shark Tank audition back in 2012, hoping to land a spot during Season 4. At that time, Use My Products was being marketed to Hair Salons with the refill-reuse-repeat way of resupplying the hair care products. Interestingly, the name "Controlled Chaos" is never mentioned during the audition tape. What's even more interesting is the Controlled Chaos product is currently still not mentioned anywhere on the website, yet that's the name being Branded during Shark Tank Episode 715.
After watching the "Use Me Products" Shark Tank audition tape it's hard to believe York didn't get on the Show during Season 4, But there's a reason for everything, and there's definitely a reason the Controlled Chaos Curly Hair Care products will become an Official Shark Tank product this Friday night.
Why would "Use Me Products" first audition for the Shark Tank using that brand name, and then return for Season 7 auditions branding the name Controlled Chaos that's not even mentioned on the site? Could it be a Shark Tank Investor (or two) convinced Alanna and her partner Maureen Emerson, to stick with the original brand name and not confuse customers with the Controlled Chaos name? Obviously, if you have curly hair and use the Use Me Products, the Controlled Chaos name makes perfect sense, but a hard name to brand as a Hair Care product IMO.
Watch Controlled Chaos on a brand new episode of the Shark Tank this Friday night 1/8/2016, and see if the Sharks can get to the root of Use Me Products branding strategy.
