BIEM on Shark Tank
The inventor of Biem Butter Sprayer is Doug Forman who's appearing on the Shark Tank Season 8 in Episode 803 to help bring this much-needed product to the masses. To prove the concept Doug recently took the Beim Butter Sprayer to Kickstarter earlier this year in March. Weren't they still auditioning for Shark Tank Season 8 at that time? Anyway, on April 2, 2016, BIEM successfully raised over $235,000.00 from 1700 financial backer to get this product kick-started before an appearance on the Shark Tank Show. Not too shabby considering Forman was only seeking $42,000.00 for the first production run.
Unfortunately, as with lot's of successful crowdfunding campaigns where the initial demand is several times more than expected, it creates a whole new set of problems meeting shipping deadlines. According to the BIEM Butter Sprayer Kickstarter page, the product should've starting shipping last Month to the original investors. They're a patient bunch compared to other delayed product pages I've visited, but the lack of communication about updates is unacceptable IMO. Doug's not posted "anything" in the comment section since May 31st that's maybe just a little past due. Lot's of questions and zero answers for the past several Months. I understand delays, but neglecting the investors giving you the opportunity in the first place should ALWAYS be Top Priority. Especially for a new Shark Tank Product.
Will the Sharks invest in the Biem Butter Sprayer on the next Brand New Episode of the Shark Tank? If they do, I seriously don't think the deal was finalized because of the reasons stated above. I love the idea and will probably buy a BIEM because I hate spreading hard, cold butter on toast. But thinks I'll wait until it's past the pre-ordering stage.
Watch the BIEM Butter Sprayer on Shark Tank Episode 803 this Friday night, October 14, 2016, and see if Doug can butter-up the Sharks into investing in this revolutionary product.
