Safe Grabs on Shark Tank
The entrepreneur that invented the Safe Grabs is Cyndi Lee, from Houston, Texas, who'll appear on the Shark Tank next week in Episode 806. The main reason Cyndi invented the Micro Easy Grabs in the first place was from continually getting burned when taking bowls and plates out of the microwave. She solved the problem by developing a heat resistant placemat the size of the round plate in microwave ovens. Lee also discovered the Safe Grabs has several other uses in the kitchen making this 8-in-1 multi tool a must-have for millions of Shark Tank Fans.
Getting the Safe Grabs on Shark Tank Season 8 was no easy feat as all the former contestants would agree. For Cyndi, however, it has been particular challenging because the Show already turned Micro Easy Grabs down three times applying for previous Shark Tank Seasons. But there's a reason for everything, and there's a reason her perseverance finally prevailed in getting this product featured on the Show. It turns out it was a blessing in disguise because Safe Grabs wasn't ready to become an Official Shark Tank Product, but it sure is now.
In between auditioning for the Shark Tank for the past several years, Lee's continued perfecting her pitch on QVC and the Steve Harvey Show to name just a few. The Steve Harvey video posted above reveals several weaknesses in the business model at that time, including the "Micro Easy Grabs" name itself. Clearly, Cyndi took the advice of Heather Thomson and Fortune 500 Turnaround Specialist Amelia Antonetti also featured on the same Steve Harvey Show. No doubt the new Safe Grabs is now ready for Primetime and to finally become an Official Shark Tank Product.
Watch Safe Grabs on a brand new Episode 806 of the Shark Tank next week, October 21, 2016, and see if the Sharks warm up to a hot deal helping solve the microwave inherent problems.
