Sunscreenr on Shark Tank
The inventor of the SunScreenr UV camera is Dave Cohen, a biochemist from Chapel, North Carolina, who'll be demonstrating this remarkable product on the Shark Tank Season 8 in Episode 805 next Friday night, October 28, 2016.
Dave first took his Sunscreenr invention to Kickstarter to prove the concept and successfully raised over $120,000.00 with a $45k goal on June 24, 2016. It appears Sunscreener was also available on Indiegogo at the same time raising an additional $165,000.00 in funding on June 23, 2016. According to both sites, the products still in pre-order stage with the first shipment to the backers hopefully shipping in time for Christmas.
As with almost all technologically advanced products seeking initial funding, the Sunscreenr's running a little behind with the overwhelming success of his crowdfunding campaigns. Now add an appearance on the Shark Tank Show in Episode 805, and Cohen's going to be swamped keeping up with demand for this innovative product.
Is there a Shark Tank Investor already working with Sunscreenr? I sure hope so because this products a Billion Dollar Idea if there was ever one seen on the Shark Tank Show. Every single Family that spends lots of time outside in the Sun is a potential customer. How cool is that having a small device where you can see the UV spectrum on exposed skin? Welcome to the 21st Century!
Watch Sunscreenr on Shark Tank Season 8, Episode 805 and see if the Sharks invest in this revolutionary new product when it comes to protecting yourself from the Suns harmful UV rays.
